Arkansas Times LP v. Waldrip, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, Apr. 16, 2019

Amici: Foundation for Individual Rights in Education, Institute for Free Speech

Amici argued that the district court erred in finding that Arkansas’ anti-BDS legislation — which requires anyone entering into a contract with the state government to pledge not to boycott Israel —  did not violate the First Amendment rights of the Arkansas Times, which refused to sign the pledge.
