This ādisinvitation season,ā controversial politiciansā calendars might be clearing up, but Āé¶¹“«Ć½IOS President Greg Lukianoffās has been full. In case you missed it, here is just some of what Gregās been up to in the past week:
Last Friday, Greg made an appearance on NBCās Today Show. On Saturday, Greg spoke about disinvitation season, speech codes, and more on , deftly answering questions from callers on a variety of topics relating to free speech on campus.
In a short but notable segment on Mondayās , Greg explained the critical distinction between students sharing their own opinions when they disagree with a campus speaker and students taking the further step of asking for that speaker to be disinvited.
And on Wednesday, Greg , in which host Michael Krasny led a debate between Greg and others on the line between free expression and creating a hecklerās veto.
With these appearances following significant coverage of commencement speaker disinvitations by major media outlets, 2014 seems to be the most notable disinvitation season yet!
