Attention, Spartans! Â鶹´«Ã½IOS’s Peter Bonilla at Michigan State University Tomorrow
You would think that if any place in America was safe for students to debate political topics, it would be the college campus. However, this is not quite the case these days. Just take for instance a recent incident at Auburn University where a student was forced to remove a Ron Paul campaign sign from his dorm window. This incident is far from isolated, too.
So as the current fall election campaigns are in full swing, Peter Bonilla, Associate Director of Â鶹´«Ã½IOS's Individual Rights Defense Program, will be addressing this very topic in a speech entitled "No Politics, Please, This is a University: Election Year Abuses of Student Free Speech Rights" this Saturday, October 6, at 3:30 pm at Michigan State University. He will be presenting as part of a being held at the North Business College Complex, 632 Bogue Street, East Lansing, Michigan. All students in the area should attend for what is sure to be an excellent and timely speech! Â鶹´«Ã½IOS can register to attend .
Also, this will not be Peter's only speaking engagement this fall. Stay tuned for more information on Peter's next appearance at a on Saturday, November 3, 2012.
